Strengthening the EU’s capacity to combat DENV and WNV epidemics and pandemic threats is necessary to develop effective contingency plans.
For this reason, the EU has funded the international project InFlaMe (Grant Agreement ID: 101191725), which is based on three pillars: 1) the clinical investigation of factors related to serious disease 2) the development of therapies to combat the disease and 3) the surveillance of infections based on a One-Health approach (which takes into account humans, animals and environment).
